Chando resides in New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College before becoming an actor. Chando played the character of Maddie Coleman on the television soap opera As the World Turns, which she was on from 2005 until 2007 before returning for another few months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Alexandra began her acting career in 2002 with the TV series House Blend playing the character as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her debut TV part after three years. Later in the year 2009 Chando was cast in the American documentary TV series True life and further appeared in the TV series, Sherri. In addition, she appeared in two episodes of the American comedy-drama TV show Glory Daze as Annabelle. Additionally, her other TV show credits are Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
